For lazy viewers: Slide show

The Gallery contains mainly nature and scenery pictures taken in Finland. From time to time some other miscellaneous shots may come along, but main focus is and will be in nature and all different aspects of nature and life itself.

If you are interested about very different kind of nature life, action shots or canine habits and their life you better browse through the sister pages where additional shots are available in illustrated storybook of Great Danes. There are a lot of shots and it's updated regularly - at least monthly.

The facts about the pictures:

All shots have been taken with a Nikon 990 digital camera without any external devices. Neither external flash nor any auxiliary lenses have been used. None of the photos have been touched any way with any software. All photos were taken with "Fine" picture setting, transferred directly to Adobe Photoshop, resize to 800x600 and stored as jpeg with "Medium quality " - setting 3. No enhancements used.
